  Our Mission

Our mission is to provide forums, virtual and physical, for collaborating on product knowledge and business development of Microsoft Windows® networking and server solutions. WiNSUG fosters communication and cooperation among business professionals who decide, influence, recommend, or maintain the deployment of Information Technology in businesses of all sizes.  We strive to be the resource in North San Diego County for impartial information on resources, personnel, solutions, and best practices in information technology. WiNSUG provides a learning experience where participants share with integrity and enthusiasm in an accepting environment.

Group Profile

We are a group of technical and business-minded people who gather together for "human networking" about software and hardware networking.  The focus and intent of the group is professional.  Consultants, IT Professionals, Integrators and Educators focused on the SMB market (Small and Medium-Sized Business) are encouraged to attend and participate.

O'Reilly User Group Program Membership

WiNSUG is now officially a member of the O'Reilly User Group Program.  Several books, catalogs and fliers regarding a discount of 20% to group members will be available at the July 1 meeting.  We have added an icon and link to their site (lower left column on each page).  We wish to extend a special thank you to Marsee Henon who heads up this program.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Coleman College Welcomes WiNSUGColeman College Crest

The Windows Networking Solutions User Group was warmly greeted by everyone at the Coleman College campus in San Marcos at the first meeting held there on April 1, 2004.  Our host, Mike Sandeffer, makes sure we have everything we need to run a professional meeting environment.

A special thanks from all the members of WiNSUG to Coleman College and their fine staff for the warm welcome.  We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship as our organization continues to grow and develop.
